Meet Dr Shuman
Dr Shuman is a proud native Texan and grew up in Coppell, a suburb of Dallas. He attended Baylor University in Waco and then earned his DDS degree from the UT Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He was a member of the Xi Psi Phi Fraternity while in dental school, just like Dr Shaw and Dr Sherrill!
Dr Shuman is a believer in postgraduate education and sees the importance of continuing to learn and stay up to date with ever changing products, materials, and techniques. Dr Shuman is currently serving his third year as a board member in the Dallas Academy of General Dentistry. He has completed the well-known Dental Implant Preceptorship at UTHSCSA. He has been training at the prestigious Spear Education Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has also earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a status only 6% of general dentists have attained.
He enjoys all phases of dentistry, but thoroughly enjoys restoring complex dental situations as well as cosmetic dentistry. With the use of digital radiographs and an intraoral camera, Dr Shuman will sit down with you and take the time necessary to explain and discuss any options so that together we can help you achieve your dental goals and oral health.
